WARRIOR RETREATS ARE CHANGING LIVES
what retreat grads want you to know
Ryan Parsons, USMC
When I got out of the Marine Corps, I was plagued with injuries, not only physical but also mental. After my last visit to the VA for severe anxiety attacks due to the pressure of work, a broken family, and the red tape of dealing with my disability claim, a friend of mine highly recommended I check out TWC. I got connected, and within a couple of days, I was urged to attend a retreat.
The program isn't easy, as a matter of fact, it's probably one of the hardest things I've had to do - but it's worth it. It not only validates who you are as a veteran and as a productive member of the team, but it also restored my hope. Much like my time in the service, the brotherhood you gain in the program is powerful, one of the most crucial things in my life.
