Adriane Diethorn, SVP of Development

Adriane Deithorn, MS, Ph.D. & CFRE

Adriane comes from a military family, including a sister that served in the US Marine Corps.  Adriane truly appreciates the sacrifices our military veterans and their families make.  So the TWC mission has always been close to her heart.

With a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from U-Penn, Adriane had always planned on helping others heal.  Although, after her life journey took her in a new direction, Adriane transitioned her service to others by becoming a development professional.  Now, after more than 19 years in the field, she is recognized as a leading expert within the development community.

As a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), she has worked with a variety of organizations both large and small, from human services to the arts, to higher education.  Her specialties include grant writing, strategic planning, nonprofit board development, special events, sponsorship procurement, event planning, fundraising counsel, planned giving, development audits, policy development, writing for fundraising/marketing, board training, and cultivation/solicitation planning.

Adriane has helped raise millions of dollars through capital campaigns, board development, events, telethons, annual fund campaigns, direct mail, major gift solicitations, and planned gift solicitations.

Nonprofit development can be complicated, as well as challenging. Adriane’s primary mission is to make nonprofit development effortless and straightforward.  She helps you clear away the complexity and raises funds much more effectively, so the agency can focus on the impacts the organization provides.

Away from work, Adriane is a fur-mom to her two doxies, Spike Lee, and Peanut Butter.  She also loves to hit the gym, take a ride on her Peloton bike, or jump into an Orange Theory class.

Fun fact about Adriane, she grew up as a competitive figure skater.  The highlight of her skating career was her role in Disney on Ice - production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs where she played the funloving, Dopey Dwarf.
